The Straw Girl is a true story about me — about the moment in my life when I faced the most difficult choice: whether to remain in the closed structure where I was raised, close to my family and friends, or to follow the call of my heart and step into the unknown.

It is a tale of experiencing the deepest form of loss and ostracism — and yet finding strength and courage to begin again.

In that moment, I started to draw myself — a blonde girl with green eyes. With every drawing I added words of hope and affirmations that inspired me to keep going. This is how the Straw Girl was born.

Today, she is more than just a part of me. The Straw Girl is a reminder of the Particle within each of us — the part that longs to be free, to love, and to shine with its own light.

Now she lives on mugs, posters, and t-shirts, created to inspire you and remind you every day to follow your own heart.
